- 1 lb fresh strawberries, washed and thoroughly dried
- 200g (7 oz) semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp coconut oil or vegetable oil (for shine)
Instructions
- Wash the strawberries thoroughly and pat them completely dry with paper towels to ensure the chocolate adheres.
- Place the chocolate chips and oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Microwave the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth and melted, approximately 1.5 to 2 minutes total.
- Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip into the melted chocolate, swirling to coat evenly.
- Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes until the chocolate is set.
