Creamy Lemon Garlic Chicken by Whatsmomcookin
Easy one-pan chicken simmered in a creamy lemon garlic Parmesan sauce.

Ingredients
- 4 thinly cut chicken breasts
- 1 1/2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Heat 1 tablespoon butter and the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, then cook the chicken for 3 to 4 minutes per side until lightly browned. Remove it before it is fully cooked.
- Add the remaining 4 tablespoons butter and the minced garlic to the skillet, then cook for 30 to 60 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in the flour, salt, black pepper, and a little extra seasoning, then slowly whisk in the chicken broth and heavy cream until smooth.
- Simmer the sauce over low heat for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring often, until it thickens enough to coat a spoon.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese and lemon juice until fully combined.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, top each piece with a lemon slice, cover, and simmer on low for about 10 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F and is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
