Chocolate Brownie Pudding by Whatsgabycookin
Rich, molten chocolate cake with a self-saucing fudge center, served warm with a dusting of sugar.

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (for the topping)
- 1 1/4 cup boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
- Whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl
- Stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until just combined, then spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Whisk together the brown sugar and the remaining 1/4 cup of cocoa powder in a small bowl, then sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the batter
- Pour the boiling water carefully over the entire top of the dish; do not stir
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is bubbling, then let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
