Whole Food Flatbread Pizza by Welleasy

Quick nutrient-dense flatbread pizza with mozzarella, tomato sauce, protein, greens, and avocado.

Ingredients

  • 2 whole grain flatbreads
  • 1 cup shredded organic mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup smooth tomato sauce
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, tofu, or beans
  • 1 cup fresh greens
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper, about 5 minutes.
  2. Place the flatbreads on the tray and spread the tomato sauce evenly over each one.
  3. Sprinkle the mozzarella over the sauce, then add the cooked chicken, tofu, or beans.
  4. Bake for 13 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the edges are crispy and golden.
  5. Top with fresh greens and sliced avocado right before serving.
  6. Finish with olive oil, salt, and black pepper if desired, then slice and serve warm.
