Salted Matcha Macadamia Popcorn Clusters by Welleasy

Crunchy popcorn clusters coated in matcha white chocolate with macadamias and flaky salt.

Ingredients
- 1 bag popcorn, popped (about 8 cups)
- 1 heaped cup sugar-free white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
- 1 heaped tsp matcha powder
- 1/2 cup macadamia nuts, chopped (optional)
- 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt, plus more to taste
- 1 tsp neutral oil or coconut oil, if needed for melting
Instructions
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread the popped popcorn in an even layer, then scatter the chopped macadamias over top.
- Melt the white chocolate gently in a microwave or double boiler over low heat, stirring until smooth, about 1 to 2 minutes.
- Whisk the matcha powder into the melted chocolate until fully combined and vibrant green, adding 1 teaspoon oil only if the mixture seems too thick.
- Drizzle the matcha chocolate evenly over the popcorn, then sprinkle with flaky sea salt right away.
- Let the tray sit at room temperature until the chocolate sets, about 20 to 30 minutes, then break into clusters and serve.
