Cream Cheese Turkey Sliders with Garlic Honey Butter made with slider buns, unsalted butter and garlic.

Serves: 6Prep: 15 minCook: 15 min

Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp honey, divided
  • 8 oz deli-sliced turkey
  • 6-8 slices provolone or cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz (1 block) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms separate.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and 2 tablespoons of honey to make the garlic honey butter. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with the remaining 2 tablespoons of honey, garlic powder, and shredded cheese until well combined. This is your special cream cheese blend.
  4. Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a baking dish. Layer the deli-sliced turkey over the buns, then add a layer of the sliced provolone or cheddar cheese.
  5. Evenly spread the cream cheese blend over the sliced cheese layer. Place the top halves of the slider buns over the filling.
  6. Brush the tops of the assembled sliders generously with the prepared garlic honey butter.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, the filling is warm, and the tops of the buns are golden brown and slightly toasted.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
