Serves: 6Prep: 15 minCook: 15 min
Ingredients
- 12 slider buns
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp honey, divided
- 8 oz deli-sliced turkey
- 6-8 slices provolone or cheddar cheese
- 8 oz (1 block) cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms separate.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and 2 tablespoons of honey to make the garlic honey butter. Set aside.
- In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with the remaining 2 tablespoons of honey, garlic powder, and shredded cheese until well combined. This is your special cream cheese blend.
- Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a baking dish. Layer the deli-sliced turkey over the buns, then add a layer of the sliced provolone or cheddar cheese.
- Evenly spread the cream cheese blend over the sliced cheese layer. Place the top halves of the slider buns over the filling.
- Brush the tops of the assembled sliders generously with the prepared garlic honey butter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, the filling is warm, and the tops of the buns are golden brown and slightly toasted.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
