Triple Chocolate Farmers Cheese Dessert by Vikacookstory

Refined no-bake European dessert featuring three decadent chocolate layers layered with smooth, sweetened farmers cheese.

Serves: 8Prep: 30 minCook: 4 hr

Ingredients

  • 500g (1.1 lb) farmers cheese
  • 200g (7 oz) dark chocolate, chopped
  • 150g (2/3 cup) unsalted butter, softened
  • 100g (1/2 cup) powdered sugar
  • 50g (1/2 cup) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Beat the farmers cheese with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract in a medium bowl until completely smooth and creamy, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over simmering water, stirring until glossy and smooth, then let it cool slightly for 5 minutes.
  3. Whisk the softened butter into the melted chocolate until fully incorporated and smooth.
  4. Divide the chocolate mixture into three equal portions to create the layers until ready to serve.
  5. Spread the first portion of the chocolate mixture into a parchment-lined loaf pan, smoothing the top, and freeze for 15 minutes to set.
  6. Spread half of the farmers cheese mixture over the first chocolate layer, then freeze for 15 minutes.
  7. Repeat the layering process with the remaining chocolate and cheese mixtures, finishing with a final layer of chocolate until ready to serve.
  8. Refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours, or until firm, before slicing and serving.
