Ingredients
- 300g (10.5 oz) high-quality lean beef, freshly ground for raw consumption
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp shallot, finely minced
- 1 tbsp capers, finely chopped
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
Instructions
- Ensure the beef is extremely fresh and specifically requested from the butcher for raw consumption until ready to serve.
- Place the ground beef in a chilled mixing bowl until ready to serve.
- Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, minced shallot, chopped capers, and Worcestershire sauce to the bowl until ready to serve.
- Mix thoroughly using a fork or spatula until the ingredients are fully incorporated and the texture is creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, mixing again to combine until ready to serve.
- Serve immediately on fresh crusty bread or crackers, keeping the mixture chilled until the moment of serving.
