No-Knead Kozunak (Vanilla) by Tonchevdimitar
No-knead vanilla kozunak enriched with egg yolks, sugar, and butter.

Ingredients
- 250g milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 50g sugar
- 12g cornstarch
- 12g flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 50-100g butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan, whisk together milk, egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch, flour, and salt over medium heat until heated through, about 5 min.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens to a pudding-like consistency, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the vanilla cream into a bowl and cover with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface to prevent a skin from forming until ready to serve.
- Chill the cream in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or until completely cold.
- This chilled vanilla cream is then used as a filling for the kozunak, as shown in the previous video until ready to serve.
