Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp sour cream (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat and cook the diced onion for 4-5 minutes until softened.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground beef, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning, and cook for 6-8 minutes until browned.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, then add the dry fettuccine pasta.
  5. Cover the pot and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the liquid has reduced.
  6. Mix in the cream cheese and stir continuously for 1-2 minutes until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning, then serve garnished with green onions, parsley, and an optional dollop of sour cream.
