- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper (adjust to taste)
- 2 tbsp green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 2 tbsp sour cream (optional topping)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat and cook the diced onion for 4-5 minutes until softened.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning, and cook for 6-8 minutes until browned.
- Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, then add the dry fettuccine pasta.
- Cover the pot and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the liquid has reduced.
- Mix in the cream cheese and stir continuously for 1-2 minutes until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
