Ingredients

  • 340g (12 oz) egg noodles
  • 450g (1 lb) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 200g (2 cup) mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the egg noodles in boiling salted water for 6-8 minutes until al dente, then drain.
  3. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the diced onion and sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté for 5 minutes until softened.
  5. Stir in the condensed cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, salt, and pepper, simmering for 2 minutes to combine.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the sour cream, then fold in the cooked noodles
  7. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbling and heated through.
