Ingredients
- 340g (12 oz) egg noodles
- 450g (1 lb) ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 200g (2 cup) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Cook the egg noodles in boiling salted water for 6-8 minutes until al dente, then drain.
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the diced onion and sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté for 5 minutes until softened.
- Stir in the condensed cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, salt, and pepper, simmering for 2 minutes to combine.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the sour cream, then fold in the cooked noodles
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbling and heated through.
