Crock Pot French Onion Beef Stew by Tiktokfoodgame

Ingredients
- 900g (2 lb) beef chuck, cut into large chunks
- 1 packet (approx. 30g) onion soup mix
- 450g (1 lb) baby gold potatoes
- 3 medium carrots, cut into thick pieces
- 225g (8 oz) mushrooms, halved or quartered
- 3 sprigs fresh thyme
- 720ml (3 cup) beef broth
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Place the beef chunks into the base of the crock pot.
- Arrange the potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, and fresh thyme sprigs around and over the meat.
- Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the top of the ingredients.
- Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the mixture.
- Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4–5 hours, until the beef is fork-tender and vegetables are soft.
- Stir the stew gently to combine the thickened juices before serving.
