One-Pot Taco Pasta by Tidal Tastes

Savory ground venison simmered with aromatic taco spices, tender pasta, and a vibrant tomato salsa finish.

Ingredients
- 450g (1 lb) ground venison (or ground beef)
- 1 packet (30g) taco seasoning
- 250g (2 cup) dry pasta (rotini or penne)
- 400g (1.5 cup) salsa
- 700ml (3 cup) beef broth
- 150g (1.5 cup) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot or deep skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground venison and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the dry pasta, salsa, and beef broth to the pot, stirring to combine.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until pasta is tender and liquid has thickened into a sauce.
- Remove from heat, stir in 1 cup of the shredded cheese, and top with the remaining cheese before serving.
