Vegan Italian Sandwich by Thee Burger Dude
Stacked deli-style sub featuring layers of plant-based meats, creamy vegan cheese, and crisp vegetables.

Ingredients
- 2 hoagie rolls
- 6 oz vegan salami, thinly sliced
- 6 oz vegan pepperoni, thinly sliced
- 6 oz vegan ham, thinly sliced
- 4 slices vegan provolone cheese
- 1 cup iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup pickled banana peppers
- 2 tbsp red wine vinaigrette
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Slice the hoagie rolls open lengthwise and lightly toast them if desired for added texture
- Layer the vegan salami, pepperoni, and ham onto the bottom half of each roll, folding the slices to create volume
- Place two slices of vegan provolone cheese over the meat layers
- Top with shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, red onions, and banana peppers
- Drizzle the red wine vinaigrette over the vegetables and sprinkle with dried oregano, salt, and pepper
- Close the sandwich firmly, press down slightly, and slice in half before serving
