Ingredients

Instructions
- Place a cast iron skillet over high heat and let it get smoking hot. Add a tablespoon of neutral oil and spread it evenly.
- Carefully place one vegan burger patty onto the hot, oiled skillet.
- Immediately use a sturdy metal spatula or a burger press to firmly smash the patty down. Aim for a thickness that balances browning with juiciness – not too thin.
- Cook for approximately 2-3 minutes per side, or until a deep brown crust forms and the patty is heated through. Avoid over-smashing to retain moisture.
