Sticky Sweet Salmon Bowl by The Fit Feast

A sticky sweet salmon bowl with salmon fillets, rice, broccoli, and a glossy savory-sweet sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, garlic powder, and sesame oil
  3. Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush salmon generously with the sauce.
  5. Roast salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. While salmon bakes, steam or roast broccoli florets until tender-crisp.
  7. Assemble bowls with cooked rice, roasted broccoli, and the sticky salmon.
  8. Add grated carrot to the bowls (raw) when assembling for fresh crunch.
  9. Drizzle any remaining sauce over the salmon and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
