Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 6 cup chicken bone broth
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add the chicken, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, ginger, and turmeric to the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the chicken bone broth over the ingredients until fully submerged.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  4. Remove the chicken, shred it using two forks, and return it to the pot.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, stir well, and serve hot.
