Nourishing Slow Cooked Chicken Soup by The Fit Feast
Tender shredded chicken simmered in a savory bone broth with aromatic ginger, turmeric, and sliced garden vegetables.

Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast or thighs
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 6 cup chicken bone broth
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 celery stalks, sliced
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Add the chicken, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, ginger, and turmeric to the slow cooker.
- Pour the chicken bone broth over the ingredients until fully submerged.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken, shred it using two forks, and return it to the pot.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, stir well, and serve hot.
