Crispy, golden-fried chicken pieces seasoned with a savory spice blend and served hot.

Ingredients
- 1 kg (2.2 lb) chicken pieces (drumsticks and thighs)
- 2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 500 ml (2 cup) vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Combine the flour, salt, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne in a large bowl or shallow dish.
- Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy crust.
- Dredge each piece of chicken in the seasoned flour mixture, pressing firmly to coat evenly.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet or heavy-bottomed pot to 175°C (350°F).
- Fry the chicken in batches for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the crust is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
- Drain the chicken on a wire rack for 5 minutes before serving to maintain crispness.
