Spaghetti with Burrata by Tanerxaydin

Simple spaghetti tossed with tomatoes, garlic, and basil, then topped with creamy buffalo burrata.

Ingredients
- 200g (7 oz) spaghetti
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 400g (14 oz) cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 ball buffalo burrata
- 1/2 tsp salt (to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add halved cherry tomatoes, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tomatoes begin to soften and break down.
- Drain the cooked spaghetti, reserving about 1/4 cup of pasta water
- Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the tomatoes. Toss to combine
- Stir in the chopped fresh basil.
- If the sauce seems too dry, add a splash of the reserved pasta water to loosen it.
- Serve the spaghetti immediately, topping each portion with a ball of buffalo burrata.
