Salt and Chili Chicken Fried Rice by Takingmeals

Tender chicken and fluffy white rice stir-fried with vibrant peppers, aromatic chili, and savory soy sauce.

Ingredients
- 320g chicken breast, diced
- 1 bag (250g) microwave white rice
- 1 red pepper, diced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 fresh chili, finely sliced
- 75g frozen peas
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tsp chinese five spice
- 1 tsp msg
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a wok or large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add diced chicken breast to the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes until browned and cooked through; remove and set aside.
- Add onions and red peppers to the same pan, sautéing for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in minced garlic and fresh chili, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the cooked chicken back to the pan along with the peas and dark soy sauce, stirring to combine.
- Add the microwave rice, Chinese five spice, and MSG, breaking up the rice and stir-frying for 2-3 minutes until heated through and well incorporated.
