Crispy Smoked Chicken by Takingmeals

Crispy air-fried chicken tossed with peppers and aromatics in a smoky paprika-spiced sauce.

Ingredients
- 400g chicken breast, sliced
- 50g cornflour
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, diced
- 1 chili, sliced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp msg (optional)
- 1 bag (approx 250g) microwave rice
- 50g curry sauce (pre-prepared)
- 1 tsp red food coloring (optional)
- 2 tbsp spray oil
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tbsp fresh green onions, chopped (garnish)
Instructions
- Toss sliced chicken breast with salt, red food coloring (if using), and 50g cornflour until evenly coated.
- Lightly mist the chicken with spray oil and air fry at 200°C (400°F) for 15 minutes until crispy.
- While chicken cooks, heat a pan over medium-high heat and sauté the onions and green peppers for 3-5 minutes until softened.
- Add the diced garlic and sliced chili to the pan, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the cooked chicken to the pan with the vegetables, then stir in the soy sauce, MSG, chili flakes, and smoked paprika.
- Toss everything together for 2 minutes over medium heat until well-coated and fragrant.
- Prepare microwave rice according to package directions and serve the chicken over the rice, topped with the curry sauce and fresh green onions.
