Velvety parmesan cream sauce infused with garlic, perfect for coating your favorite long pasta noodles.

Ingredients

  • 115g (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 480ml (2 cup) heavy cream
  • 150g (1.5 cup) parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet or saucepan over medium heat until foaming.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching.
  4. Reduce heat to low and gradually whisk in the grated parmesan cheese until fully melted and smooth.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat immediately to prevent the sauce from breaking.
