Easy One-Pan Chicken Parmesan Bake by Stress Free Recipes

Tender cubed chicken and pasta baked in a savory tomato sauce with melted mozzarella crust.

Ingredients

  • 450g (1 lb) pasta (any short shape)
  • 680g (1 jar) spaghetti sauce
  • 500ml (2 cup) water or chicken broth
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • 225g (2 cup) mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Combine pasta, spaghetti sauce, water or broth, diced chicken, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning in a 9x13 baking dish.
  3. Stir thoroughly to ensure pasta is submerged, then cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  5. Remove foil, stir the mixture, and top evenly with mozzarella cheese, breadcrumbs, and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Increase oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) and bake uncovered for 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
