Crockpot Million Dollar Pasta by Stress Free Recipes

Slow-cooked layers of savory ground beef, cavatappi pasta, and a rich, creamy cheese sauce.

Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- 16 oz cavatappi pasta
- 48 oz spaghetti sauce (divided)
- 24 oz water
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 0.5 cup sour cream
- 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 0.5 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 0.25 tsp black pepper (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes, season with salt and pepper, drain excess grease, and set aside.
- Whisk together cream cheese, sour cream, ricotta, garlic, and parsley in a medium bowl until smooth.
- Add half a jar of spaghetti sauce to the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker.
- Layer half of the dry cavatappi pasta over the sauce, followed by one full jar of spaghetti sauce and half of the water.
- Spread half of the cooked ground beef mixture over the pasta layer.
- Dollop the cream cheese mixture evenly over the beef layer; do not stir.
- Layer the remaining dry pasta on top, followed by the last jar of spaghetti sauce, the remaining water, and the rest of the ground beef.
- Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, checking for pasta tenderness at the 2-hour mark.
- Stir the mixture thoroughly once the pasta is al dente, then top with shredded mozzarella.
- Cover for 5 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted, then serve.
