Cilantro Cumin Chili Oil Noodles by Shanilcooks

Quick, aromatic noodles tossed in a vibrant, spice-forward chili oil with fresh cilantro and garlic.

Ingredients

  • 250g (8 oz) wheat noodles, cooked
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tbsp garlic, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp chili flakes
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 3 tbsp neutral oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Place cooked noodles in a large heat-proof bowl until ready to serve.
  2. Top the noodles with the chopped cilantro, minced garlic, chili flakes, chili powder, and ground cumin until ready to serve.
  3. Heat the neutral oil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat until it begins to shimmer, about 2 minutes.
  4. Pour the hot oil carefully over the aromatics and spices on the noodles to release their fragrance until ready to serve.
  5. Add the soy sauce and toss everything together thoroughly until the noodles are well coated, about 1 minute.
