Salted Tahini Nutella Chocolate Mousse by Sepps

Silken tofu chocolate mousse blended with rich Nutella and savory tahini, finished with flaky sea salt.

Ingredients

  • 600g silken tofu
  • 350g vegan nutella
  • 200g tahini
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp fine salt
  • 100g dark chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt, for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine the silken tofu, vegan Nutella, tahini, cocoa powder, 1/4 teaspoon of fine salt, and melted dark chocolate in a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes, pausing to scrape down the sides of the blender as needed.
  3. Pour the mousse into individual serving dishes or a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until thoroughly chilled and firm.
  4. Just before serving, sprinkle the mousse with flaky sea salt to enhance the flavors and add a textural contrast.
