- Place the chocolate chips in a heat-proof bowl and pour the hot cream directly over them.
- Let the mixture sit for 2 minutes to allow the chocolate to begin melting.
- Place the bowl over low heat for 30 seconds if the chocolate is not fully melting, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
- Remove from heat and stir vigorously until the mixture is completely smooth and glossy.
- Stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Use immediately as a glaze or transfer to a piping bag to drizzle once it cools and thickens slightly.
