Ingredients
- 113g (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp garlic, minced
- 475ml (2 cup) heavy cream
- 50g (1/2 cup) parmesan cheese, grated
- 150g (1 1/2 cup) italian cheese blend, grated
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 340g (12 oz) spaghetti noodles
- 225g (8 oz) smoked sausage, sliced
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook spaghetti noodles according to package directions until al dente.
- Sauté the sliced smoked sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned, then remove from the pan.
- Add the butter and minced garlic to the same skillet, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.
- Stir in the Parmesan and Italian cheese blend until completely melted and smooth.
- Season with salt to taste and return the browned sausage to the pan.
- Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce until evenly coated and serve immediately.
