Ingredients

  • 113g (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 475ml (2 cup) heavy cream
  • 50g (1/2 cup) parmesan cheese, grated
  • 150g (1 1/2 cup) italian cheese blend, grated
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 340g (12 oz) spaghetti noodles
  • 225g (8 oz) smoked sausage, sliced

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook spaghetti noodles according to package directions until al dente.
  2. Sauté the sliced smoked sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned, then remove from the pan.
  3. Add the butter and minced garlic to the same skillet, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan and Italian cheese blend until completely melted and smooth.
  6. Season with salt to taste and return the browned sausage to the pan.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce until evenly coated and serve immediately.
