Ingredients
- 2 slices texas toast bread
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp cinnamon sugar
- 1 tsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Whisk together the egg, heavy cream, cinnamon sugar, flour, and vanilla extract in a shallow bowl until smooth.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt the butter until foaming.
- Dip each slice of Texas toast into the batter, ensuring both sides are well-coated but not soggy.
- Place the bread into the hot skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the pan once both sides are toasted and serve immediately with your favorite syrup.
