Thick slices of Texas toast buttered and griddled until golden brown for the ultimate crispy comfort.

Ingredients
- 4 slices texas toast
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
- Spread a generous layer of softened butter evenly over one side of each slice of Texas toast.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium-high heat until hot.
- Place the bread butter-side down onto the hot griddle.
- Griddle for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is deeply golden and crispy.
- While the bottom toasts, butter the top side of the bread, then flip.
- Griddle the second side for another 1-2 minutes until golden and serve immediately.
