Ingredients

- 4 large eggs

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Whisk eggs and water together in a separate bowl
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients while mixing to form a smooth, thick batter.
- Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil
- Scrape the batter through a spätzle maker or the large holes of a colander into the boiling water.
- Cook the spätzle until they float to the surface, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the spätzle with a slotted spoon and transfer to a bowl.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the cooked spätzle to the skillet and sauté for a few minutes until lightly golden and heated through.
