Brown Butter and Sage Ravioli by Sarahinnawi

Delicate cheese-filled ravioli tossed in a nutty brown butter sauce with crispy fresh sage leaves.

Ingredients
- 500g (1 lb) ravioli (store-bought, favorite filling)
- 60g (4 tbsp) unsalted butter
- 10 leaves fresh sage
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook ravioli according to package directions, usually 3-5 minutes until they float.
- Place a skillet over medium heat and add the butter, allowing it to melt and foam.
- Add the fresh sage leaves to the butter, cooking for 2-3 minutes until the butter turns a deep golden brown and smells nutty.
- Transfer the cooked ravioli directly into the skillet using a slotted spoon until ready to serve.
- Toss the ravioli gently in the brown butter sauce for 1 minute to coat thoroughly, seasoning with salt and pepper before serving.
