Yogurt and Cream Cheese Cake by Sabrineguelbi
Light and airy yogurt cake enriched with creamy fromage frais for a delicate texture.

Ingredients
- 125g (1/2 cup) plain yogurt
- 125g (1/2 cup) cream cheese or fromage frais
- 200g (1 cup) granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 250g (2 cup) all-purpose flour
- 11g (1 tbsp) baking powder
- 80ml (1/3 cup) neutral oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a standard cake pan.
- Whisk the eggs and sugar in a large bowl for 3-4 minutes until the mixture is pale and slightly frothy.
- Fold in the yogurt and cream cheese until smooth and fully combined.
- Stir in the oil and vanilla extract until incorporated.
- Sift the flour and baking powder into the wet mixture and stir gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
