Ingredients
- 1 freshly baked baguette
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 slices good quality ham
- 1 tbsp cornichons, sliced
Instructions
- Slice the baguette lengthwise, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Generously spread butter on both cut sides of the baguette.
- Layer the slices of ham onto the bottom half of the baguette.
- Top the ham with the sliced cornichons.
- Close the sandwich with the top half of the baguette.
- Serve immediately or pack for a picnic.
