Italian Sub Pasta Salad by Reviskitchenn

Vibrant pasta salad featuring cured meats, sharp provolone, and fresh vegetables in a zesty vinaigrette.

Ingredients

  • 450g (16 oz) rotini or fusilli pasta
  • 225g (8 oz) salami, diced
  • 225g (8 oz) deli ham, cubed
  • 225g (8 oz) provolone cheese, cubed
  • 300g (10 oz) cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 medium red onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup italian salad dressing
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Drain the pasta and rinse under cold water until completely cooled to stop the cooking process.
  3. Combine the cooled pasta, diced salami, cubed ham, cubed provolone, halved cherry tomatoes, and red onion in a large mixing bowl until ready to serve.
  4. Pour the Italian dressing over the salad and sprinkle with dried oregano, salt, and pepper until ready to serve.
  5. Toss everything together until evenly coated, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
