Cheese Alfredo Bread by Recipebylayla

Crusty artisan bread topped with a velvety garlic cream cheese sauce and melted Chihuahua cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 ciabatta baguette
  • 150g (1.5 cup) shredded chihuahua cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 30g (1 oz) cream cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven or toaster oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Melt the butter in a small pan over medium heat, add the minced garlic, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the cream cheese to the pan and whisk continuously over low heat for 2-3 minutes until smooth and emulsified.
  4. Slice the baguette in half lengthwise and spread the garlic cream sauce evenly over the cut sides until ready to serve.
  5. Top with the shredded Chihuahua cheese until ready to serve.
  6. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and slightly golden brown.
