One-Pan Walking Taco Bake by Powerhouseplates
Savory ground beef and red kidney beans baked with crunchy corn chips and melted Colby Jack cheese.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 0.5 onion, diced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 0.75 cup taco sauce
- 15 oz red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 2.5 cup fritos corn chips
- 1.5 cup colby jack cheese, shredded
- 0.25 cup sour cream (for serving)
- 0.5 cup tomatoes, diced (for serving)
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the ground beef and diced onion in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes, then drain excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and taco sauce, mixing until the beef is evenly coated.
- Fold in the red kidney beans and spread the mixture into an even layer in the skillet
- Top the beef mixture with an even layer of Fritos, followed by a generous sprinkle of Colby Jack cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with sour cream, diced tomatoes, and fresh cilantro, and serve immediately.
