Philly Cheesesteak Uncrustables by Platesbykody

Savory steak and melted cheese pockets sealed in soft bread, baked until golden and crisp.

Ingredients
- 450g (1 lb) thinly sliced steak (e.g., steak-umm)
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 1 medium onion, finely diced
- 1 medium green bell pepper, finely diced
- 8 slices white sandwich bread
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- Sauté the diced onion and bell pepper in a pan over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- Add the thinly sliced steak to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
- Place one slice of provolone cheese and a portion of the steak mixture onto the center of four bread slices.
- Top with the remaining bread slices and use a large circular cookie cutter or a glass to cut out the pockets, pressing firmly to seal the edges.
- Brush the tops of the pockets with melted butter.
- Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy, watching closely to prevent burning.
