Buttery, flaky croissants seared in a sweet, golden syrup for a decadent breakfast treat.

Ingredients
- 2 large croissants, sliced in half horizontally
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter.
- Once the butter is melted and bubbling, pour in the maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt, stirring to combine.
- Place the croissant halves cut-side down into the syrup mixture.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes, pressing down gently, until the bottom is deeply caramelized and golden brown.
- Flip the croissants and cook for another 2 minutes on the top side to warm through and glaze.
- Remove from the pan immediately and serve while warm.
