Buffalo Chicken Pretzel Sandwiches by Platesbykody

Crispy fried chicken tossed in spicy buffalo sauce, served on toasted pretzel buns with sweet pickles.

Ingredients
- 4 pretzel buns
- 4 fried chicken breast fillets
- 1/2 cup buffalo hot sauce
- 1/2 cup bread and butter pickles, sliced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven or toaster oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the pretzel buns in half and brush the cut sides with melted butter.
- Toast the buns in the oven for 3-5 minutes until golden brown and warm.
- Heat the fried chicken fillets in the oven or air fryer until crispy and heated through, about 8-10 minutes.
- Toss the hot chicken fillets in the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
- Assemble the sandwiches by placing a chicken fillet on the bottom bun, topping with a generous layer of bread and butter pickles, and closing with the top bun.
