High-Protein Chicken Chebureki by Osmancho

Tender oven-baked chicken pockets offering a high-protein, low-calorie alternative to traditional deep-fried chebureki pastries.

Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken breast, finely minced
- 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 medium onion, finely grated
- 2 tbsp plain yogurt (for moisture)
- 12 sheets lavash or thin tortilla wraps
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions
- Combine the minced chicken breast, grated onion, yogurt, salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl, mixing until well incorporated.
- Lay out the lavash sheets and cut them into 12 even circles until ready to serve.
- Place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture onto one half of each lavash circle until ready to serve.
- Fold the other half over the filling and press the edges firmly with a fork to seal the chebureki over medium heat until heated through, about 5 min.
- Brush the tops of the chebureki lightly with olive oil for crisping until ready to serve.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the edges are golden brown.
