Creamy, protein-packed tofu scramble seasoned with black salt for an authentic, savory egg-like flavor profile.

Ingredients

  • 400g (14 oz) firm tofu, drained and crumbled
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp black salt (kala namak)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened plant milk
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the crumbled tofu to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes until slightly golden.
  3. Whisk together the plant milk, nutritional yeast, turmeric, garlic powder, and black salt in a small bowl
  4. Pour the mixture over the tofu, stirring constantly for 2-3 minutes until the liquid is absorbed and the texture is creamy.
  5. Remove from heat and serve immediately while hot
