Crispy savory fritters featuring fresh watercress, aromatic garlic, and onion, served as a classic snack.

Ingredients
- 400 g watercress, finely chopped
- 4 tomatoes, diced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 150 g all-purpose flour
- 100 ml water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 250 ml vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Combine the chopped watercress, diced tomatoes, minced garlic, and diced onion in a large mixing bowl until ready to serve.
- Add the flour and salt to the vegetable mixture, stirring until well combined.
- Gradually add the water while stirring to form a thick, cohesive batter until ready to serve.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan or skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the fritters and drain on paper towels for 2 minutes before serving warm.
