Creamy White Wine and Garlic Chicken by Nickys Kitchen Sanctuary
Pan-seared chicken breasts simmered in a rich, creamy white wine sauce with garlic and mushrooms.

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 250g (9 oz) cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 120ml (1/2 cup) dry white wine
- 200ml (3/4 cup) heavy cream
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through, then remove from the pan and set aside.
- Add sliced mushrooms to the same skillet and sauté for 4-5 minutes until browned.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the white wine and simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce the liquid by half.
- Whisk in the heavy cream and dried thyme, then simmer for 2 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
- Return the chicken to the pan and coat with the sauce, heating for 1 minute before serving.
