Spicy Honey Garlic Chicken by Neamariacherian
Tender pieces of chicken glazed in a sticky, savory-sweet sauce with a bold garlic kick.

Ingredients
- 800 g chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 12 g (4 tsp) black pepper powder
- 20 g (4 tsp) soy sauce
- 6 g (1 tsp) salt
- 8 g (2 tsp) sugar
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) honey
- 30 g (6 cloves) garlic, minced
- 15 g (1 tbsp) chili flakes
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) vegetable oil
Instructions
- Combine the chicken with the pepper powder, 2 tsp of soy sauce, and salt in a bowl; toss well to coat and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken pieces for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the minced garlic and chili flakes, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the honey, sugar, and remaining soy sauce, simmering for 2 minutes until the sauce bubbles and slightly thickens.
- Return the cooked chicken to the pan and toss for 2-3 minutes to coat thoroughly in the sticky sauce before serving.
