Creamy Avocado Tuna Salad by Natashaskitchen

Flaky tuna tossed with ripe avocado, crisp celery, and red onion in a bright citrus dressing.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (5 oz each) canned tuna in water, drained
  • 2 large ripe avocados, diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine the drained tuna, diced celery, and finely chopped red onion in a large mixing bowl until ready to serve.
  2. Add the mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper, stirring gently until the tuna is evenly coated.
  3. Fold in the diced avocado pieces carefully to avoid mashing them too much over medium heat until heated through, about 5 min.
  4. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately, or chill for 30 minutes before serving.
