Cowboy Butter for Steak by Nadimsamy

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped chives, lemon zest, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Mix thoroughly with a fork or spatula until all ingredients are well incorporated and the butter is evenly colored.
  3. Spoon the cowboy butter onto a piece of plastic wrap or parchment paper until ready to serve.
  4. Roll the butter into a log shape, twisting the ends to seal until ready to serve.
  5. Refrigerate the cowboy butter for at least 30 minutes to firm up before slicing and serving.
