Date Tahini Halva by Nadiashealthykitchen
Healthier halva-inspired dessert made with dates, tahini, cardamom, and pistachios.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups pitted Medjool dates
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/4 tsp fine salt
- 2 tbsp chopped pistachios, for topping
Instructions
- Soak the dates in hot water for 5 minutes if they are dry, then drain well.
- Blend the dates, tahini, cardamom, and salt for 1 to 2 minutes until a thick, smooth paste forms.
- Press the mixture into a small lined loaf pan or dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Sprinkle the chopped pistachios over the surface and press them in lightly.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes until firm, then slice or scoop to serve.
