Ingredients

- 0.5 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 0.5 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the brown sugar, vegetable oil, pumpkin puree, and eggs in a large bowl until smooth.
- Stir in the cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt until well combined.
- Fold in the flour, baking powder, and baking soda until just incorporated, then stir in chocolate chips if using.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of batter onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the tops spring back when touched.
- Cool completely on a wire rack before sandwiching with your preferred filling.
