Tender chicken fillets infused with fresh rosemary and thyme, finished in a rich butter reduction.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 3 sprigs fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken tenders evenly with turmeric, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat.
  3. Brown the chicken tenders for 2-3 minutes per side until golden, then transfer them to a baking dish.
  4. Arrange fresh rosemary and thyme sprigs over the chicken.
  5. Cube 3 tablespoons of butter and place on top of the chicken, then drizzle with remaining olive oil and pan drippings.
  6. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
